In the Santa Maria Novella area and jonesing for a coffee? Look no further than Arnold Coffee. Beautiful interior with plenty of tables, reminds me of another famous big box cafe. In a place where iced coffee and fancy coffee drinks are practically unheard of (well, rare, for sure) and to-go cups just aren't necessary (2 sips to done), this was a welcomed treat. I adore my Italian coffee, but this may be a hot day iced treat for this girl.
Perfect location next to the train station. Drop in and give it a try... But tourists, please note, this is NOT the Italian way ;)Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Ebtisam S.Ithaca, Stati Uniti148110 nov 2017
Overpriced coffee, not good even that great. Customer service is awesome though. I recommend going to local coffee shops where a cappuccino costs no more than €1,50. Here it was €2,80!!!!!

Need to refuel after doing touristy things? This is a good stop for a quick bite and coffee fix! Great service and lots of room if you want to take a break from the sun. If you like sugary drinks and sweets, then you'll like this place.

If you are in Florence and really want the American coffee experience stop here, just like a Starbucks, overpriced, dirty, trying so hard to be hip, and failing. It's the exact American coffee experience in a country that has perfected the art of coffee.....so I'm really not sure why this store exists.....

Just gross. Ordered a ham and cheese bagel and a salmon bagel- both the salmon and the ham were hard as a rock and were basically dried meat. The coffee was basically just a cup of milk and the straws didn't come in wrappers, they were just sitting open in a jar where multiple peoples hands have touched them

This place is cute. Honestly only came in here for five minutes but I ordered an iced cinnamon latte and a blueberry muffin to go.
The muffin was amazing, wanted to go back for another but the latte was pretty watered down and I didn't even finish it.
Both of those together we're about 7 euro.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elle E.Los Angeles, Stati Uniti30848648728 nov 2014
This coffee shop boasts that it has american coffee, and it does... It has coffee the likes of which you'd get at 7 Eleven. It's watery, and has a lingering burnt flavor. Plus it costs about double what you'd pay for a coffee elsewhere in the city.
Everything about this place (speaking solely of the venue) was okay: the service, the atmosphere, but it clearly caters to tourists from the states, and the coffee is pure garbage. I went here because I wanted a coffee to go, and it's the biggest regret of my 10 day trip.
You're in Italy: be adventurous and get some Italian coffee at any one of the numerous cafes. Order an Americano there: you'll be judged, but it'll be less strong than the standard coffee, and it'll taste great, and it'll cost lest than the swill you'd get here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Zack C.San Francisco, Stati Uniti43112016 ott 2017
This is an insult to American coffee. I have never had a worse cup of coffee (if you want call it that). Even Folgers instant coffee is better. Even 7-11 or McDonald's coffee is better. It is so watered down you might even wonder if they just served you hot water. If you don't like caffe you would be better off ordering an Americano at a local cafe. Do not waste your time or euros on this pig swell.

I had a great time with my fellow yelpers here the other day. I ordered a slice of cheesecake and an iced mocha coffee. I enjoyed both of them, I did have to re-stir the iced coffee as most of the chocolate was still at the bottom. I enjoyed the free wifi and there were plenty of comfy places to sit. The first thing that come to mind when I entered this Coffee bar was .... Starbucks. They replicated the starbucks experience to some degree and I am sure they will do well catering to some italians and the homesick american tourist.
It's quite a different type of coffee shop/bar experience in the city, I am a pretty big fan of the espresso, so I am not sure when I would come back unless I was craving a kind of starbucks experience ... but since I have been living here, that has never happened.
I suppose I am already hooked on the Italian coffee experience ... ; )Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
