Hot Topic

I know I should not love this store as I am over 15 years old... but I do. Their superhero t-shirts are absolutely the best. They also have awesome posters for your car shop... or dorm room.... or wherever you need fun things hanging around.
We have also learned to love their discount rack as they have really neat t-shirts, dresses, costumes, and more!

I love going to hot topic but today I had a certain experience with a worker there that I did not like. I go there with my sister all the time and we both always find something we want to try on so like always we go to the dressing room, enjoying our time, while the employee working unlocked the door and wouldn't let me go in with her she says "only one person can try on stuff at a time" I said "ok I'll just put this down and I can go in with her" (I've never had this problem before, we try things on in the same dressing room all the time at hot topic) and she snapped at me saying no I couldn't go in and "you can see it when she comes out and shows you" like it felt like she was letting something out on me. When my parents were checking out she was nice to them and wouldn't even look at me. I was going to buy 2 things and I put them back because the mood that girl put me in.

The employees there are so very rude. My sisters and I were in there about a week ago looking around..you know shopping. My sister was approached by one of the employees about not wearing her mask over her nose..mind you she has asthma and can not wear her mask like normal because of her breathing. She tried to explain to the employee she has a medical condition. My sister was told that if she didn't put her mask over her nose that she had to leave..so they basically kicked her out of the store. I grew very angry about our incounter in this store. This girl...this employee didn't have to be so rude to my sister. I WILL NEVER BE BACK AT THIS STORE! This store can just lose business and close and I will be perfectly fine with that...their stuff looks cheap and its grossly over priced anyway!

I usually love shopping here with my kids and end up spending quite a bit of money. Today I brought my kids in, and as it's the Norman law now we wore our masks. My daughter and I were looking at shirts when I hear a lady rudely yell. "Mam, you need to put your mask back on!" I didn't think much of it till I hear it yelled again. I turned to see what the commotion was about and the blond girl at the register was looking at me. I looked around and not seeing anyone else I asked if she was talking to me? "Yes!" She said rudely. "I saw you take off your mask! You need to keep it on!" Now she was say this loud and rudely from the register. I had my mask on the entire time, the only thing I had done was pulled it out from my mouth because my glasses had fogged over. I explained to her what I had done, but that I hadn't taken off my mask. She yelled again across the store that she has seen me take it off. I yelled to my kids to come and we left the store. I will definitely take my business elsewhere where people aren't rude and trying to police people who aren't doing anything but shopping. Extremely upset!!!!!! I will be telling everyone I know and see about what happens when you shop here!!!!!!!!!!!!!
