Khun Akorn

Very good Thai restaurant just nearby Place de la Nation. I went there the other night for diner and I liked it a lot.
Food was very tasty, I had a delicious meal with shrimp with lemongrass sauce,
However I was a bit disappointed by the service - not very mindful, and the portions too. I would not mind to pay 18€ for a few shrimps but the food would then have to be much more subtle, and the flavors much more elaborated.
Good point for the place decoration though, with the picture of the King just above the bar - major detail!

Great little Thai Restaurant, just a few minutes walk from Nation station. Really flavoursome range of starters and main courses produced to a high standard.


I've had bad, really bad, experiences of Thai restaurants in Paris but thankfully this place goes against all of that. As such, I would strongly recommend anyone going to Paris looking for a nice Thai restaurant check this place out.


The green curry I had last night was rich and flavoursome with a really generous helping of ingredients including baby aubergines and pea aubergines (often the sign of a green curry that's had a little bit of thought put into it). It could've been a little more spicier though.


Starters and main courses for two with a bottle of wine came in at 80EUR. When you're used to London prices for Thai food, this is a little on the expensive side but I have to say this place is significantly better than many of the London-based Thai restaurants, so perhaps worth it!

Love the place since 8 years. Fresh delicious food. One of my favorite Thai places in Paris. Great friendly team
