La Piazzetta

We liked this restaurant. We were here on a hot day, we ate outside on a shaded patio. All our food was good but the meatballs were like little hamburger patties- just ok. Carbonara was very good. Service was great, cold beer and sodas, friendly staff. Good location, between port and the tower.

One of the few places open during the Italian 'siesta' - They have a large outdoor seating area with some nice shade.

Basically a tourist trap, but we were in the mood for some real Italian pizza, which was fresh and lightly topped.

The service was kind of slow, had to ask for our check multiple times.
