We came on a weekday during lunch, and it was very busy, but we were able to get a patio table without a wait.
If you don't order alcohol, they bring some Prosecco for you. We got a Barbera and an aperol spritz, great for a pizza lunch.
When you sit down, they start you with a little thin pizza sandwich. As you look at the menu, you realize how specific they are about their ingredients, which I really appreciate. For example, they use specific Sicilian capers, DOP san Marzano, etc
We were on a pizza crawl, so we just shared one pizza (how does everyone eat whole pizzas and stay thin??). We got the Napulitana: red sauce based with capers, fiordilatte, and anchovies. I'm not an usually an anchovy fan, but when it Italy, you have to try it.
The crust has a wonderful and remarkable chewiness and despite being thin, holds up well to the perfectly proportioned toppings - maybe because their dough rises 48 hours and gets massaged?
They also have an great Calabrian chili paste for your pizza.
It's amazing that a basic margherita is only €9, which Italians consider to be expensive but is amazing by American standards (remember - no tax / tip / health surcharge).
When you're done, you pay at the counter. The best part is that my credit card charge for this merchant was "No Glutine" haha.
This was a great start to our pizza crawl!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Denis S.Seattle, Stati Uniti17714 feb 2024
I had a delightful experience enjoying pizza at this joint. The crust was perfect--not cracking when folded (the place is quite democratic eat your pizza a portafoglio like they do in Naples), yet remaining firm without becoming soggy. Beware of the pizza size though; I mistakenly ordered antipasti alongside my pizza and found myself full after just two slices. They also offer a commendable selection of wines that complement their pizzas exceptionally well. Prosecco as an aperrtivo is a nice touch.

We walked in on a rainy weekday evening and it was BUSTLING. I do think it's wellknown among tourists, but also looked full of local working ppl who just got off work.
The crust is super puffy on the outside, yet very thin.. classic italian style pizza. The service is awesome and quick (they even gave each table a welcome champgne bottle and bread - crazy).. and the food is great for the price.
Nothing lifechanging, but a good hearty meal during our stop in Milan! Would return.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 7 ott 2022
If you have not been to this pizza places you are missing out!!! Super yummy and definitely worth the price. They also give complimentary wine to everyone there and the pizzas just to die for. I ordered the napoleon which has anchovies on it. I recommend ordering simple pizzas as that is what they are known for in Italy

Service was outstanding. Ambiance is a lot of fun. Ingredients are very fresh. But, the restaurant gets very busy and rushes pizzas out and are undercooked. 3 of us had pizzas and we each had the same issue. If you go, I recommend to request the crust "crispy" or pizza well cooked.

Nice Neapolitan style pizza. I had anchovies and the pizza was excellent. My wife had margherita and it was very tasty but a bit cold when served, however it could be that we were eating outdoors ( 20c) and had too much wine before eating

Saw great reviews on TripAdvisor so we checked this place out.
The ambience was very stuffy and loud. We were both tired from a long night out the night before, but if you are looking for a happening place this is it.
We had to specify multiple times to the waiter we wanted still water and then brought us a carbonated bottle - so annoying.
The pizzas themselves were very good, but nothing to write home about.
Overall, good if you are looking for a place with a group to drink at lunch, but other than that its just eh.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Candace Z.Austin, Stati Uniti12517911 set 2019
Amazing!! Their dough is light and crispy, the cheese is salty and delish, and the meloncello was refreshing. We will be back!

Good food, free WiFi. Great spot for lunch. Door was hard to find, just a dark glass door and sign is high overhead. I had to walk back and forth a couple times to find it. Entry steps down and they've tiled the walls and ceiling with river rock that looks similar to what you see in the nearby park. Very friendly service.

I was looking forward to eating here because of the great reviews but I left a little disappointed. The whole place was popping even at 9:30 PM. This place seemed to be very popular with tourist as well since there were many different types of people eating there. When we got seated, we actually got a complimentary glass of Prosecco, sandwich samples and some bread. Since this was a pizzeria, we ordered two pizzas. First one was just a pizza margarita and second was loaded with a local cheese and basil. Both pizzas were okay. There was just nothing special about these. The flavors weren't really there and the middle of the pizza was extremely soggy. Maybe I just put Italian pizza at a higher pedestal but even if this place was in my hometown, I would not be impressed.
