Obermaier

Such a magical place! Just had a most relaxing dinner, awesome food and service. Felt like I was being entertained by a friend! Thank you for a great evening!

We were a party of 10 arriving late on a Sunday evening. The service was efficient and courteous. It made a significant effect on a really pleasant evening. The restaurant with super. Several of us had Wiener Schnitzel. It was perfect prepared. The portion was enormous, but everyone cleaned his/her plates. There was no need for dessert. We were all very happy. Hint: try the warm beet salad. Obermaier is a gem.

This was one of the worst experiences we've had this year. The service was very rude, first it took them 15 minutes before they even noticed us. Then when we wanted to order merely drinks in their beer garden, they suggested we go to a bar because " this is a restaurant!". The story goes on with different waiters showing equally poor manners. At the end when we wanted to pay, the waiter kept our change money and said to us "you don't really want your change back, do you?" Absolutely horrible and unprofessional. Never going back there.

Was given a word of mouth reference to this place when I first arrived in Berlin. We went on a summer's evening and sat out in the garden. The food was incredible, the schnitzel was simple but full of flavour. Dunkels bier was a perfect accompaniment. The dessert was a blueberry/strawberry semolina concoction which I fail to remember the name of, this blew my mind. Absolutely a great meal and great ambiance.
