Pearson's is my preferred fuel dock in San Diego Bay. I've gotten fuel here on multiple occasions and always greatly appreciate that someone (or two) comes down the dock to grab a line. Plus they're friendly here, which isn't as common as you'd expect along SD's waterfront. Plus a couple of times we needed quick access to nearby shore facilities and they've graciously offered us a few extra minutes on their dock while we ran these quick important errands.

Started getting low fuel pressure warnings in both engines so I needed to change out my fuel filters. Not wanting to smell like diesel fuel the rest of the day I called Pearson's to see if the could change out the filters while we took on fuel. They said come on it we'll take care of it, and they did. In and out in no time at all. They were right on the dock as we came in to grab lines. Justin took care of the filters and Don knows his stuff. No need to go anywhere else for fuel in San Diego.
But then there's the Deli. Since we we had very little food on board we grabbed some sandwiches from the deli. Even if you don't need fuel services the food was GREAT!!! Great find of a great place. Will stop in any time we're in the area for fuel or food.

Great fueling experience! Right there on the dock when we arrive to help tie up. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area ! Only bummer was we arrived around 4 pm and the deli was closed so we could get sandwiches..

Unbelievable service. I lost my hydraulic steering and got towed into their fuel dock in the middle of the night. They let me stay there and then went out of their way to make sure I got the parts that I needed to be on my way the next morning. Thanks!

Easy to approach on the boat. Easy to swap out archaic CNG tanks for the cooking system. Fantastic deli. Staff is friendly and helpful to novices.

There's not a bad thing to say about this place. Maybe it's busy on the weekends, but I always seem to sail up on a Monday or Friday, so who cares? I suppose the U shape docks add to the open feeling of the fuel dock itself. If you're fairly inexperienced like I am, you appreciate the wide open feeling that makes you think you could almost dock this thing single handed.

If you're there when no one else is, you can be topped off with every type of fuel possible before you're ready to eat your sandwich.

I'm a massive fan, have been forever. We are there on a weekly basis. I could talk boaty about fuel and tanks etc etc but gee lets just talk about those sandwiches! Amazing. Unbelievable. I may have to go over there right now to get one. What makes them so special? I simply don't know. I think perhaps its just owners who care about their customers, so they buy the best ingredients and put some real love into it. Go have a sandwich!

Fair gas and diesel prices, honest mechanics, good place for oil change or routine service on your engine.
