Tao's Garden

I had the pleasure of discovering this 'off the beaten path' salon that was one of the best experiences I've had in Italy when it comes to hair! While the location for someone living in the center is not ideal (its close to the airport) - now that I've been there once, I have to make this my new must-go hair salon!

The place itself is large and airy, offering a variety of services. Not just hair. They also offer massages, a spa for two, waxing, mani-pedis and even laser hair removal. My hairstylist was the friendly Luca who I immediately liked from the start. He was friendly, asked a lot of questions about what I wanted (which was really nice and rare in Florence) and helped me pick the right cut and color.

We ended up going with an angular bob and a color mesh, a deep red with lighter various highlights. While the color seemed a bit bright when he was putting it on me, the end result was way better than I ever expected. This has to be the best color job I have ever had. Plus the shampoo chairs doubled as massage chairs, I almost fell asleep in mine. AMAZING

Another great touch was that he taught me various ways to style my new hair and what to use. I have never had a better haircut in Florence and Luca, I will be back, don't you worry!!!!!
