Wasn't a huge fan.

They just couldn't get their food system right. I ordered my food and waited 45 mins to have it brought out only for my friend to order 10 mins after me and get it within 15. What the? 10 of us ate together, none of it arrived together, single meals brought out one at a time by the very simple and unenthusiastic staff. The food wasn't even that great either, which is a shame.

The pub itself isn't bad at all. Great views over the bay from the outside seating and lots of TVs and entertainment inside.

The pesky pub dog/puppy jumping up at me trying to steal food wasn't what I bargained for though.

This pub is very meh. They get so much passing trade in the summer that they don't have to offer value or service to survive.

A great spot to watch the sunset over the beach! Nice beer garden overlooking Polzeath beach. Walking distance from the beach but up a very steep hill so you definitely feel ready for a pint after that! The food is generally good but it can be a bit hit and miss during busy periods! A good selection of drinks available. They often have bands playing here too which is good. Nice chilled out vibe here. I always look forward to visiting which I do quite frequently as we have a family caravan at polzeath!
