I don't know why but I always think this is a really strange place. Rather than a shop it's a warehouse, with really poor lighting. Saying that it stocks everything you want (and more) in terms of DIY - all at reasonable rates. Big decorating section and when I went in the other day (during October) they had a good Christmas display. There is a lighting section upstairs also.


The staff are helpful enough and point you in the right direction, but are more than happy to keep you waiting at the till while they carry on their conversation. I also get the impression they mourn the passing of smoking in places of work!
