LOVE this place! Super friendly and yummy. Haven't had anything we disliked yet. It's my favorite pizza place around, and the salads are so fresh and delicious. The owners are amazing and kind too. They treat everyone with respect. It gets super busy (because it's that good), so be prepared to go early if you want to eat there inside around a meal time, especially weekends. My friend and I ordered on the app this past Friday night, almost cancelled, but decided it was worth the hour wait! So glad we waited! We ordered at 5:50pm and the doorbell rang at 6:13pm!!! Talk about service! You won't be disappointed and you'll soon have your go to pizza place!! I heard they're opening another location in the Apex area soon!! Can't wait it'll be in our delivery zone!!!
I was looking for a place with an adult tap class. I decided to try the hip hop adult and adv. adult tap class. I had a lot more fun in the tap class. I do not have kids yet so this was just a place to blow off some stress. After dancing in a more serious studio since I was 6 years old I was very surprised at the ... extremely lax...somewhat chaotic atmosphere. There seemed to be one important thing - the competition girls. Everyone else was just there. My adult class was only an hour each and the hip hop class the moms and teacher spent almost 15 or more minutes just talking! I'm sorry, but I have paid good money to be here, I didn't have any "connections" with these women so it was rather annoying. They were welcoming and friendly, but the talking just did me in. I enjoyed the company and dancing but I wish there was more dancing in the adult class.
We were told to come here after we went for breakfast.
Service: sadly our waiter was not attentive - but I believe this to be a one time experience so I don't want to dock them for one guy's mistakes. The manager was extremely kind and comped our entire breakfast since we didn't get drink refills, or extra syrup, or any attention for that matter. We saw the guy to order and that's about it. But the manager made sure she heard us and we weren't expecting her to comp the entire meal! It was very gracious.
Food: I ordered the buttermilk pancakes - delicious! My problem - I got a tiny little cup of syrup that basically soaked into my first two bites (hence wanting more syrup and never got it) so I ate dry pancakes... My husband ordered the steak and eggs and he loved his food. I was kinda jealous! The steak was a great cut of meat, cooked perfectly, and was juicy. Definitely a great breakfast!
Overall- food and manager's kindness made up for our lack of service. We were very pleased and would revisit for another meal of we had more time!
Enjoyed our breakfast here and will be visiting every morning until we leave!
Service: Very nice waitress - took care of us, wanted us to enjoy our experience, and had the owner Lisa greet us. Very pleasant and personable.
Food: we ordered your standard pancakes and eggs with sausage and home fries. Really loved that you could have the home fries without onions! Pancakes were yummy standard diner flavor. I added chocolate chips! Sausage was good and my husband liked the pork roll and eggs he got. Coffee was okay.
Overall- food and price matched so we are happy! And the extra friendly and kind staff made it a nice visit which we will be going back to since it's such a short distance from our hotel we can walk. Also the perk of 24 hours is great!
Never ordered beer so my review is based on the food only - love the Mac and cheese and chicken pot pie! Everyone's always happy with their food and my only complaint is I have to make sure I don't over eat! Service is on the ok side sometimes good but not always, just depends on your server. That's why I am only giving it 3 stars. I would give more for the food but we have only been to this location around 5 times, and each time the service was lacking. Food - great. IF you're there with friends and chatting it up you may not even realize if it's a bit slower service though.
I have lived in Cary for a little over a year now and was faithfully going back to my stylist in Philly whenever we would visit family (needless to say it would grow out and look awful!). SO on went the search and getting over fears...I ended up at David Wade. I wanted something different, sassy, fun, and yet look like an adult not an emo-teen. Easy to manage (5-10 min max). Andrew cut my hair and I have never received so many compliments - it's a pixie/crop - a little longer on the top to help my thicker hair have shape instead of being a fro. I love love love it being short and can't believe how freeing it feels. He helped me see all the different ways to style it, he showed me what he used in my hair and how to get it the way he did it. He also before even cutting or washing it he touched, felt, and moved my hair around to see texture and how it would lay naturally. NO ONE has ever done this before, I am always stuck in a chair and washed, then go to the stylist chair. So I loved that aspect. He talked to me and I had pictures to show him what I wanted and he fused together different things from the pics for what would work best for my features. I have been back for the 4th time now. Each time he has changed it a bit. The 2nd time wasn't the best cut and when I went back he knew exactly how to fix it and do it the way I wanted. I recommend Andrew, but I have never had any of the other stylists.
It's all in the time you go. I love target. I always get lost in the - I didn't come in with a list so I'm aimlessly wandering for cute things I don't need - kind of way. My issue is - waiting at the register. All of two are open whenever I go and they're a TON of them. What's the point if you only need a few things and have to wait 20 minutes to check out. I always find something I want or need- its the getting out of the store part that has lowered my rating.
