My service was a bit more of a two, but I think they were potentially a bit spent after comicon and football finals, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Security had to acr waiters bless them, and people were nice, if seeming a bit new. We all ordered separately in pockets if households within two minutes of each other, and our orders were split strangley around each other when they arrived. Drinks are London prices, chicken pie arrived cold, bbq wings were un-bbq-y and in two very inconsistently sized piles for the same order but the blue cheese sauce was lovely.

I do think everything was a reheat job, and overpriced for that, but reasonable.

It was medium clean, the toilets were a bit grim, reasonable, but they let us push tables together and there was a very average selection at the bar.

I feel like this review has been a little "meh", but its just not somewhere I can get excited about, will try harder on the next one...

I was searching for rhe Shrewsbury one, but after seeing this one pop up, I've probably spent the most time in this one since the telford store closed.

It's a small frontage, but goes back quite far, with an especially good shelf full of the selectors I was given a voucher for here recently, so I really went to town! The staff are always polite, and charmingly helpful in this one, which is always good!

Best bacon I've had on a breakfast in a long time! We fancied a no frills breakfast on a cold rainy day so we headed here-
It's tiny inside, with 3 small tables and friendly yellow walls. The kitchen ìs open and bustling, and there were clearly people in their who come every weekend.

Eat in or takeaway, with space outside to eat too, breakfast on a sunny day in the summer would be lovely. They have vegetarian options of different sizes too, and plenty of sandwich options. The cakes in the cabinet looked fabulous too (and I heard mention of lemon meringue)

Our standard full English was just over £7, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, egg, beans, tinned tomato, mushrooms, black pudding, toast, inclusive of tea, coffee, orange or apple juice, and we added a hash brown for good measure.
I do like a fresh tomato, but the tinned were still nice ones, and my only issue would be that I like my black pudding crisper, but other than that, seriously good, it really ticked all of the boxes!

So this is a bit of a funny one- as it seems like a lovely place, toilets clean, nice seating, dark but in an atmospheric cosy way. I wasn't going to review, but it's coming up as a constant suggestion! The bar staff were perfectly fine, there bar was pretty well stocked - nothing quirky, but your standard "different" range of pink gin and pulls, but I just think we caught it on a day where other clientele were really horrible- which kind of dampened the experience- obviously, it isn't the venue's fault, and from what I guessed, they weren't regulars (but neither were we, so what would we know, I guess!)- and I absolutely wouldn't expect a member of staff to have to step in front of someone physically or metaphorically, but it felt very strange.

Still distancing at the time- We'd been on our feet all day, and we (two of us) sat on a table of four- which was the smallest table available, a group of seven came in shortly after us, and sat on a table of six- my friend had popped her shopping on her chair, instead of asking, or even taking the empty chair next to me without asking, they took the chair next to my friend and dropped her shopping bag on the floor with a cat swipe- I've written this for context rather than complaint- and the pub couldnt do anything about it, and I wouldn't expect them to, but it hung a weird atmosphere in the air just because one middle aged dude decided to be a dick, and then someone decided to be a terror in the loos too, such a first world problem, but it was not a shining example of humanity. Maybe would have liked an acknowledgement of the weirdness when we took our glasses to the bar, I don't know- like I said, strange one.
The food did smell great, and my gin was fine.
